Update For The 2020-2021 School Year

Hello, everybody!

Sadly, NOJ is going to be on a brief hiatus for the next few months due to COVID-19. With vulnerable elders and limited visits, we are not able to perform at any homes until further notice. We miss the conversations and bonding music with others, and we hope to come back as soon as this pandemic clears up! In the meantime, Happy (early) Halloween, and continue to stay safe!

Quarantine Update

Well, as everybody knows, school is now going to be online for the remainder of the semester. Unfortunately, NOJ cannot perform for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19. I hope everybody is having a safe quarantine, and thank you so much to those who are helping out those in need! Continue to stay healthy, and don't forget to wash your hands!

Thanksgiving Performance at Ivy Hall!

This past Saturday, November 23rd, we came back to Ivy Hall! We had another successful performance, and the residents were happy to see us again. There were slightly fewer performers, but we were still able to replicate the same warm feeling. It was great to catch up with the older and newer residents since last month!

Happy Thanksgiving Break!

Back at Sunrise!

For the second performance on October 26th, Notes of Joy played at Sunrise for the first time this semester! The residents filled the room and attentively listened to all of the pieces. It was nice to see and talk to familiar faces from last year. We ran through the usual songs, and residents sang along to heart-warming pieces such as Edelweiss and New York, New York. A few ladies even recognized our faces from the last time we visited them!

We played our regular program, which included heart-warming pieces such as Salut d'Amour and Georgia on My Mind. Thank you to everyone who participated to make this successful performance!

Wonderful Last Performance for This Semester!

Hello everyone!

This past Saturday, April 28th, was our last Notes of Joy performance for this school year! We were welcomed by the sweet residents of the Sunrise of Johns Creek and shared some of our favorite pieces with them.

We would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support! We would also like to wish our graduating seniors good luck and we hope that you will all continue to spread joy anywhere you go!
