Benton House (January 25, 2014)
I am beyond proud of the students pictured above.
Unfortunately, because of an obligation that came up last minute, I was unable to attend the performance last Saturday.
At first, I was going to call the Benton House to cancel the performance for January 25, but decided that it would be good for the students to perform on their own... and I hear they did so beautifully.
From setting up and performing to putting all the chairs back in place, they did everything completely on their own. A special thanks goes out to Lauren Ha, Akhil Anil, and Gabby Ryan for especially helping out, but I am so thankful for every single person who came to perform.
While eating lunch, senior citizens enjoyed the music that Notes of Joy members prepared!
This woman told Aida and Elizabeth that they made her day :)
Can't wait for our next performance at the Cohen Home on February 16!
